The Hindustan International School is established by the Hindustan Group of Institutions, The school is affiliated to the Cambridge International Examinations, UK.
Admissions are open for the academic year 2017 -18 for classes Pre-KG to Grade VIII.

Prospectus can be obtained from the school office by paying Rs. 1000.
Application form shall be issued on request and on producing the credentials of the child whose admission is sought.
Submission of Application Form
For Kindergarten
Application form duly filled in along with attested copy of Birth Certificate, copy of address proof, copy of passport (if applicable) should be submitted to the school office within 5 working days of collecting the form.
For Grade I to VIII
Original School Leaving Certificate should be submitted before commencement of classes in June.
However, along with the Application Form last year’s report card should be submitted as proof of schooling.
Attested copy of Birth Certificate, Certificate of achievement in sports in district / National level (if applicable), a copy of proof of address, copy of passport (if applicable), copy of legal guardianship or court order in-case of separated parents and a recent passport size photograph should be attached with the Applicaiton Form.
Without these documents the form will not be accepted. Kindly avoid further requests. Duly filled in Application Form should be submitted within 3 days of collecting the form.
Interaction / Admission Test
For Kindergarten
The date of INTERACTION will be intimated.
The child should be accompanied by both the parents.
For Grade I to VIII
The entrance tests will be in English & Maths.
The syllabus for the tests shall be of the class in which the child is currently schooling.
Result of the test shall be emailed along with the date and the time of interaction with the Principal, if the student is selected. For interaction, both the parents should accompany the child.
Eligibility for Admission – 2017-18
For Kindergarten
To be eligible for admission, the candidate must fulfill the age limit specified below:
For Pre-KG the child must have completed 2.5 years as on 30.06.2014
For Junior KG the child must have completed 3. 5 years as on 30.06.2013
For Senior KG the child must have completed 4.5 years as on 30.06.2012
For Grade I to VIII
To be eligible for admission the candidate must qualify in the entrance test and satisfy the norms specified by the school management committee.
Admission Criteria
Admission is based on First-cum-First Served basis for the KG and on the basis of the performance in the written tests for grades I to VIII. However, admission shall primarily depend on the availability of seats.
Mode of Payment
Fee should be paid by Demand Draft / Cheque in favour of “Hindustan international School, payable at Chennai” for all students at the fee counter.
However, cash shall be accepted if cheque payment is not possible. Please ensure that proper receipt is obtained from the school office for the cheque / cash remitted.
No post-dated cheques shall be accepted.
Uniforms will be available in the school. Parents can collect the uniforms set at the time of admission.
Transport facility – kindly fill the transport form and the school office will inform about the fees and pick up and drop points and timings in your area.
