- Hindustan International School (HIS), Guindy, hosted the culmination event of its pioneering Kids MBA program, where 13 teams of young entrepreneurs from its three campuses showcased their innovative ideas and prototypes.
- The event, marked the successful conclusion of a program that equipped students with entrepreneurship skills and leadership qualities.
- Launched in July 2024 in collaboration with ABE Global Accreditation, the Kids MBA program provides young minds with a platform to develop business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
- The event was part of the efforts of Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chairman of Hindustan Group of Institutions (HGI), to nurture the next generation of leaders and innovators.
- In his presidential address, Mr. Johnson Mathew, Dean Academics of HGI, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship, stating that future generations would be job makers, not job seekers.
- The students presented a diverse array of projects, from tech-driven products to sustainable business solutions, highlighting the hands-on learning approach of the program.
- Teams had the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a panel of distinguished judges, including
- Mr. Ramchandran, CEO of ARBA Agrotech Pvt. Ltd.,
- Mr. George S. Christopher, CEO of MacApp Studio, and
- Mr. Vijaysabari Mugunthan, Managing Director of Kodivian.
The judges were impressed by the creativity and entrepreneurial drive demonstrated by the students.
- The students presented a diverse array of projects, from tech-driven products to sustainable business solutions, highlighting the hands-on learning approach of the program.
- The top teams were:
- Third Place: Team Robostart (Pranav Sagar, Avyukth, Harshil Jain) – Robotic Kit for children.
- Second Place: Team Silent Talk (Nithila, Samyuktha, Ashmitha, Bala Ragav) – AI Lip Reading and Sign Language Earbuds.
- First Place: Team AURA H2O (Shairithvic, Sudev, Ryan, Rayline) – Smart Hydration Tracking Water Bottle.
- After the event, Dr. Lalli C K, Principal of HIS, delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the judges, participants, and the entire school community. The event concluded with a group photo session, capturing the spirit of innovation and teamwork.
- The Kids MBA program, a collaboration with ABE Global Accreditation, continues to shape young minds and prepare them to thrive in an ever-evolving world of entrepreneurship and innovation.
