Grade 3 Special Assembly : SDG- Life below water

The students of Grade 3 conducted a special assembly focused on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14: Life Below Water. The event was aimed at raising awareness about the importance of preserving marine life and ecosystems, which are crucial for the health of our planet.

The highlight of the assembly was an engaging skit performed by the students, portraying the journey of a sea turtle, shark, whale, octopus, jelly fish and its challenges due to human activities. The skit effectively depicted how plastic waste, oil spills, and other pollutants endanger marine life. The students used creative props and costumes to bring the oceanic setting to life, making the message clear and impactful.

Following the skit, a group of students presented interesting facts about the ocean, its biodiversity, and the various threats it faces. They used visual aids like charts and posters to illustrate the alarming rate of ocean pollution and its consequences on marine species.
The assembly concluded with a powerful call to action. The students encouraged their peers to take small but significant steps to reduce their environmental footprint, such as reducing plastic usage, recycling, and spreading awareness about ocean conservation.
