International week

International week was celebrated at HIS Guindy with great fervor and joy as the children went around the globe with the help of their thinking routines. The children had a busy week painting different flags, learning about the language, people, currency, monuments and culture about a particular country chosen by them. At the end of the week they had a chance to visit each class to find out little about each country. Children also took part in a fun quiz , dressing up in costumes relevant to the different countries, tasting the cuisines of 15 countries and completing their thinking routines inspired by Project Zero from Harvard University. The week ended on Friday with the commemoration of the International week through a cultural programme wherein they shared their learning with their friends from other classes.
