Sense Booth Day 2019

Hindustan International School organised Sense Booth, a culminating activity on five senses for Pre- Primary Students. Learners of Pre Primary actively participated and experienced different types of tastes such as sweet, sour, salt and bitter. The expressions and reaction of students on tasting different tastes were fascinating and helped the children to learn with fun. Children enjoyed pleasant and unpleasant sounds using different musical instruments, bells, anklets, rattles, glass bowls with water, Bengal gram powder and other objects. Our Young Learners touched and felt different textures, materials to explore the sense of touch with slime, hard wooden blocks, coarse salt, wood wool, thorny pineapple, bumpy balls, etc. Mirror to see, matching of water colours, colour balls with same colour circle, kaleidoscope, etc added interests of the learners to explore the sense of sight. With a strong sense of smell, students were able to differentiate pleasant smell and unpleasant smell. Young Learners enjoyed the smell of Mint, Coriander and Caraway leaf to have a refreshing feel.It was an event which combined learning with fun.
