Two Adorable Losers

Hindustan International School, Guindy was delighted to host the famous English Comedy Play – Two Adorable Losers on December 12, 2018. The play was staged for the first time in Chennai featuring National Awardee Darsheel Safary – the Child Star Artist from the movie “Taren Zameen Par”. The plot was written and enacted by Abhishek Pattnaik. Murtuza Kutianawla from Out of the Box production house directed the play. Two Adorable Losers is a perfect blend of emotions, wit and humour. The play revolves around two characters namely a Statistics Professor and a College Student. The work was dramatic yet amusing and quite satirical in its tone. It however, had a cheerful ending. The motif of this dramatic work was to triumph over unpleasant circumstances by creating comic effects, resulting in a happy and a successful conclusion. Two Adorable Losers sheds light on the evolving relationship between a teacher and a student and how the teacher’s positive reinforcements have a lasting impact on the student. The split scenes and the acting left the audience in awe. It truly was a memorable experience for the students and teachers of Hindustan International School, Guindy in having witnessed this spectacle.
