Pongal Celebrations-2018

Pongal is a harvest festival, a traditional occasion for giving thanks to Nature. We celebrated Pongal on 11th January, 2018. It was joyous and filled our days ahead with happiness. The day began with Rangoli, followed by Tamil Thai Valzthu. A special song was sung by our teachers on Pongal. Our Principal Ms.Iris Theodore addressed the gathering. The children performed for the Kummi song. Pongal , SugarCane was distributed to all the students. To rejoice in the charm of our tradition , Pot breaking game was conducted. All the children were taken for a bullock cart ride which was total fun and excitement.
