Founder’s Memorial Day 2024 – HIS Guindy
Hindustan International School-Guindy, observed the 18th Founder’s Memorial Day on 14th February 2024, in remembrance of Late Dr. K.C.G. Verghese, Founder-Chairman, Hindustan Group of Institutions.
The homage started with a prayer followed by lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Dr. Lalli along with Ms. Vidya Louis, HISTAR Head and the school coordinators. Ms. Mary Cynthia, the Primary coordinator gave a speech about Dr. K.C.G. Verghese. An excerpt was read from the autobiography of our founder, ‘Wings and Wheel’. The achievements of Dr. K.C.G. Verghese was presented through an inspiring video.
The ceremony culminated with a floral tribute given by the teachers and students with great reverence for the visionary and philanthropist who valued the importance of education for a progressive society and a man whose foresight and imagination led to the creation of this institution.
