Celebration of HISG getting the GOLD QS I-GAUGE rating

Summary of the Event:
Hindustan International School, Guindy, marked a proud and momentous occasion as it celebrated the achievement of the prestigious GOLD QS I-GAUGE rating on 24th March 2026. The event was held at the HIS Guindy Auditorium from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, in the presence of the entire teaching and administrative staff.
The celebration was graced by our eminent dignitaries including the Chairman of the Hindustan Group of Institutions Dr Anand Jacob Verghese, the Executive Director Lieutenant General Bobby Mathews, the Academic Dean Mr Johnson Mathew, the Registrar Mr Stanislaus, and the Principal Dr Lalli CK. Their presence was a great significance to the occasion as they came together to honour the dedicated efforts of the QS team of teachers.
The programme commenced with the Master of Ceremonies, Ms. Cynthia, who smoothly guided the audience through the event.
This was followed by a warm and inspiring Welcome Address by the Principal, Dr Lalli CK, who welcomed and thanked the dignitaries and teachers for the relentless efforts of the team.
The highlight of the event was the Chairman Dr Anand Jacob Verghese Commendation Address. He eloquently traced the journey of the QS I-GAUGE process-from its initiation, through the rigorous stages of evaluation, to the successful attainment of the GOLD rating.
He commended the perseverance, teamwork, and commitment demonstrated by the staff, emphasizing that this recognition reflects the institution’s pursuit of excellence in education. This was followed by the Acknowledgement of the QS Team, where the teachers who contributed to this achievement were recognized and applauded for their dedication and hard work.
Adding to the celebratory spirit, a Cake Cutting Ceremony was held, symbolizing the collective success of the institution. The event concluded with a Group Photograph, capturing the memorable moments of pride and unity among the staff and leadership.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the QS Coordinator, Ms Sheema Sakthivel, who expressed gratitude to the management, staff, and all stakeholders for their unwavering support and collaboration throughout the QS journey.
