TRICOLOR – DRAWING & PAINTING CONTEST – 2026

Event overview:

The “TRICOLOR” Drawing & Painting Contest-2026 was a vibrant celebration of India’s national colours, saffron, white & green. It was conducted successfully in our school on to commemorate the spirit of patriotism and to celebrate the national flag through Art. Engaging participants in creative exploration and skill-building through Drawing & painting competition conducted by the Department of Art & Design, 200+ Creators took part in the contest to expose their creativity through various art forms, including drawing & painting. This event mainly focused on Hindustan pride with innovation through imagination. Different Themes were given to the Learners to create with their own Imagination. This contest was open from grade 1 to A level students, divided into four age-based groups. Finally, 3 winners were selected from each category by the judges & they were encouraged with Trophy & certificate.

Prize Distribution ceremony for the Tricolor event held on 15th August 2026 in collaboration with 80th Independence Day celebration at our school campus.

Objectives

  • Build Patriotism: Inculcate respect, devotion, and pride toward the national flag and the tricolor.
  • Encourage Creativity: Spark imagination by letting participants use diverse colors and mediums to represent freedom.
  • Educate Youth: Teach the history and core values (peace, truth, growth) symbolized by the flag’s three colors and the Ashoka Chakra.
  • Develop Skills: Improve fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, and visual expression, especially in younger children

Outcomes

  • Cultural Awareness: Participants gain a clear understanding of national heritage and the significance of independence.
  • Artistic Growth: Students showcase original interpretations of national themes using crayons, paints, Oil pastels, Soft pastels, colour pencils etc.
  • Community Engagement: Foster unity and shared pride through public displays or digital galleries of the top artwork.
  • Value Reinforcement: Children internalize core civic values like national integrity, harmony, and responsibility
