British Raj Trail

“The more you know about the past, the better prepared you are for the future.”
We all know that the British ruled us for years, but do we know what important events happened in our city Chennai and ever visited those places? Our Grade 4-7 students from HIS,Guindy went on a “British Raj Trail” and visited Fort St George and Fort Museum today.
This trail takes kids through some of the exciting stories tucked away behind the walls of Fort St George. They trace the arrival of the British and delve into the events that led to their rise and fall. As kids walk past the artifacts displayed at the Fort Museum, fascinating stories get them to revisit the British struggles for power and supremacy in India.
