CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION 2025
Introduction
Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Hindustan International School, Guindy Block, on 14 November 2025. The programme was thoughtfully curated to honour the joy, energy,
and creativity of our students. Teachers from different departments came together to present an engaging lineup of performances, making the morning a memorable one for every student.
Programme Highlights
1. Welcome Address
The celebration commenced with a warm welcome address, extending heartfelt greetings to all students. The tone was set for a fun-filled and lively event.
2. Prayer Song
A soulful prayer song followed, invoking blessings and creating a peaceful ambience before the festivities began.
3. Dance Performance – HISTAR Teachers
The HISTAR teachers showcased an energetic and entertaining dance performance. Students cheered as their teachers took the stage with confidence and enthusiasm.
4. Speech on Children’s Day
A special speech was delivered, emphasizing the significance of Children’s Day, the vision of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, and the value of embracing curiosity, kindness, and responsibility as young
learners.
5. Dance Performance – Primary Teachers
The primary teachers performed a lively and colourful dance that added excitement to the event. Their cheerful presentation brought continuous applause from the audience.
6. Skit – “A Day in HISG”
One of the most humorous and relatable segments of the programme was the skit based on the theme “A Day in HISG.”
In this skit, teachers amusingly imitated students—from classroom behaviors to corridor interactions and everyday school routines. The audience burst into laughter as teachers mirrored students’ habits, expressions, and typical responses, making it a light-hearted and enjoyable performance. The skit not only entertained but also strengthened the bond between teachers and students.
7. Special Performance – Flash Mob (Teachers & Students)
The highlight of the event was the flash mob-style dance, performed collaboratively by both teachers and students. Starting unexpectedly, the performance grew as more participants joined in, creating a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. The collaboration showcased unity, teamwork, and shared joy, making it one of the most unforgettable moments of the celebration.
8. Vote of Thanks
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, staff, and students for making the event a grand success and celebrating the day with such positivity and enthusiasm.
