Coping Up With Test Anxiety
An interesting session – “Chase Dreams, Conquer Fears Tomorrow” was organised by Hindustan International School, Guindy on Coping up with Test Anxiety for the students of Grade 10,11 and 12.
Ms. Reshma Malick, Head Department of Psychology, School of Liberal Arts and Applied Sciences, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, was the resource person for the session. Principal of Hindustan International School, Guindy welcomed the gathering and Dean Academics Mr. Johnson Mathew addressed the students.
The students appearing for the Cambridge International Examinations, February/ March 2024 attended the session which was very interactive and filled with simple activities and exercises to overcome fear, especially Assessment related.
The points to be considered to overcome the fears are an Individuals -Thoughts(brain), Feelings (Mind) and Actions (Footprint). Ms. Reshma mentioned that Assessments can be considered as Challenges and suggested different ways to cope with anxiety to achieve the goals.
The session was very effective for students who will be appearing their Cambridge International Examinations.
Participants: Grade 10,11 and 12 students.
