OBJECTIVE
The critical thinking session was organized to encourage students to develop curiosity, analytical thinking, and the confidence to question and explore ideas. The session emphasized the importance of asking meaningful questions and developing the habit of seeking explanations rather than accepting information passively.
SESSION OVERVIEW
A highly interactive session on Critical Thinking was conducted for students of Grades 8 to 12 by Lt. Bobby Matthews. The session focused on developing students’ ability to think critically, analyse situations, and approach ideas with curiosity and an open mind.
The session was conducted in an engaging and interactive manner. The resource person continuously involved the students by posing questions and encouraging them to think, respond, and share their perspectives. Students actively participated in the discussions and responded enthusiastically to the questions raised during the session.
A significant part of the session was dedicated to doubt clarification and interaction with students. Students were encouraged to raise their questions and clarify their doubts. The resource person patiently addressed their queries and further encouraged them to think deeply about the questions they asked.
The central message of the session was the importance of never stopping the process of questioning. Students were encouraged to ask “Why?” and to develop the habit of seeking reasons, explanations, and deeper understanding. The session reinforced the idea that questioning is an essential part of learning and critical thinking.

The key message, “Keep asking questions”, served as an important reminder that meaningful learning begins with curiosity and the willingness to ask why. The session provided students with valuable insights that can be applied both in the classroom and beyond.
