Diwali Celebration 2019

Hindustan International School, Guindy celebrates Diwali.

Diwali, the Pan Indian Festival is a Celebration of knowledge over ignorance, good over evil and hope over despair.
A spectacular presentation from Carnatic Music to Traditional Dances were performed by the Students from Pre Kg to Grade 10.Various other activities such as ‘Diya’ decoration, Paper diyas, Paper lanterns, and Card-making were also organised.

The students exchanged sweets to mark the festivity and celebrated the spirit of the ‘Festival of Light’.

The celebration of Diwali enlightened the students with an understanding that,” Life has many facets and stages to it. It is important that we shed light on all of them, for if one aspect of our life is in darkness, we cannot express life in its totality. The rows of lamps lit on Diwali reminds us that every aspect of life needs our attention and good always triumphs over evil.
