Diwali Celebration 2024
Objective of the Session:
The much-anticipated Diwali celebration at our school took place on 30th October 2024, with great enthusiasm and excitement. Diwali, the festival of lights, is celebrated by millions across India and the world, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. Our school organized a vibrant and memorable event to mark this auspicious occasion, filled with cultural performances, decorations, and engaging activities for students and staff.
Preparation and Decorations:
The school was beautifully decorated in honour of Diwali. Colourful rangolis were created at the entrance. The stage was adorned with fairy lights, and traditional Diwali decorations like torans (garlands of flowers) and lanterns illuminated the entire space.
Traditional Dance Performances:
The celebration kicked off with a series of traditional dance performances. Students from various grades showcased their talent through performances of classical dance, Skit as well as contemporary dances set to popular Diwali songs. The energetic performances were met with applause and cheers from the audience.
Messages and speeches:
The principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of celebrating festivals like Diwali with love, unity, and respect for the environment. The speech delivered by students also highlighted the significance of Diwali in spreading positivity, peace, and harmony among all
Class activities:
Various grade wise activities were conducted for the students in the afternoon session.

Grades 6 – 8 Rangoli making.
Sweets Distribution:
As part of the Diwali tradition of sharing joy, students distributed sweets with their friends and teachers. The sweets, which included traditional Diwali treats like Ladoo’s and barfi’s, were enjoyed by everyone and helped spread the festive cheer.

The Diwali celebration at our school was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation among students and staff.
