Educational Visit to IIT Madras 2026

An educational visit to IIT Madras was organized to provide students with exposure to a premier institution and practical insights into science and technology.

The visit began with the Mechanical Engineering Labs, where students observed practical applications of engineering concepts. The lab coordinators explained the working of various equipment and concepts clearly, helping students connect theory with real-world use.

Next, students visited the Centre for Innovation, where they explored a variety of student-led projects. A major highlight was observing the design and development of a formula car, which generated great excitement and interest among the students.

The visit concluded at the Heritage Centre, where students learned about the history and development of IIT Madras. This provided them with a deeper understanding of the institution’s journey and achievements.

Students also had the opportunity to interact with volunteers and meet a Hindustan International School alumnus studying at IIT Madras, who shared his experience and inspired them.

In addition, students enjoyed the natural campus environment, spotting deer and monkeys and taking a short walk around the campus.

The group returned safely to school by 4:15 PM.
