ERP Orientation Session
An informative and interactive session on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system was conducted by Ms. Aswathy Sumesh for both newly joined and existing staff members. The session aimed to familiarize educators with the various modules and functionalities of the ERP platform, enabling them to effectively manage their academic and administrative responsibilities.
The session began with an overview of the ERP system and its significance in streamlining school operations. Participants were introduced to the various modules available within the platform, with special emphasis on the Academic Hub and its role in supporting teaching and learning processes.
Ms. Aswathy provided a detailed demonstration of the My Profile section, guiding staff members on how to create, update, and maintain their professional profiles within the system. The e-Almanac module was also explained, highlighting its importance in planning and tracking academic activities throughout the academic year.
The session further covered the procedures for applying leave through the ERP portal, ensuring that staff members understood the process for submitting and monitoring leave requests efficiently.
A significant portion of the session focused on the Learning Management System (LMS) features, including the use of the Daily Planner, Daily Subject Repository, and other academic resources. Participants were guided on how to upload lesson plans, share learning materials, and maintain records of classroom activities.
Additionally, Ms. Aswathy demonstrated the attendance management module, explaining the process of marking and monitoring student attendance accurately through the ERP system.
The session was highly engaging and practical, with participants actively interacting and seeking clarifications regarding various ERP functionalities. Through clear explanations and live demonstrations, the resource person ensured that both new and existing staff gained confidence in navigating and utilizing the ERP platform effectively.
