Event Overview

Hindustan International School, Guindy, proudly celebrated its Founder’s Day Celebration and Investiture Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026–27 with great enthusiasm and dignity. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Yaswanth Kumar, School Development Manager at Cambridge International Education, as the Chief Guest, along with the school’s distinguished management members, Head of School, coordinators, teachers, parents, and students.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial procession of dignitaries, followed by the Prayer, Tamil Thai Vazhthu, School Anthem, and the Welcome Address. The gathering paid tribute to the institution’s Founder through the traditional lighting of the lamp, floral homage, and a special Founder’s Day presentation highlighting the vision and legacy of the institution.

The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant milestone as the newly elected student leaders formally accepted their responsibilities. Student leaders including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captains, Cultural Captains, Club Captains, House Captains, Vice Captains, and House Mentors were conferred with badges and took the oath of office, pledging to uphold the values and ethos of the school.

The Chief Guest addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech on leadership, responsibility, and the importance of lifelong learning. The ceremony concluded with the Vote of Thanks, National Anthem, and the ceremonial exit of the newly invested student council members.

Objectives

  • To instil leadership qualities, responsibility, and service-mindedness among learners.
  • To recognize and encourage student participation in school governance and activities.
