FOUNDERS MEMORIAL DAY OSERVANCES 2026

Summary of the Session:

The Founders Memorial Day Observances were held on13rd February Friday 2026 at the HISG Auditorium at 11:00 a.m. The programme began with a solemn prayer by Ms. Pooja, invoking God’s
blessings on the gathering. This was followed by a meaningful Bible reading by Ms. Shobana Abraham, which set a reflective and respectful tone for the event.

Ms. Anita Thomas then delivered a heartfelt tribute speech about our beloved Founder, Dr. KCG Verghese. She highlighted his vision, dedication, and remarkable contributions towards the field of
education. She reminded the students of his inspiring dream that “No man is a failure,” encouraging everyone to strive for excellence and perseverance in life. Principal Dr. C. K. Lalli and all the Level Coordinators lit the ceremonial lamp on the occasion of Founders’ Memorial Day.

A video presentation was shown next, portraying the Founder’s significant contributions to education and his commitment to shaping young minds. The video deeply moved the audience and reinforced his enduring legacy.

The observance concluded with all grade students offering floral tributes to our Founder as a mark of respect and gratitude. The programme was a meaningful and memorable tribute to a great visionary leader.
