HIS K –“HARMONIA” ( Onam)

Hindustan International School, Karapakkam celebrated the Harvest Festival of on 09.09.19 at Buckingham Hall. A Flower Mat (Pookolam) was created in the morning welcoming the King Mahabali . Competition on traditional Foods like Aviyal and Pulissery etc were on display done enthusiastically by students along with craft items made purely from eco friendly items. The Cultural Part “HARMONIA” started with Thiruvadhira followed by a skit on Onam. Children enjoyed with Adapradhaman and Chips made at school. Last but not the least Principal emphasized on the significance of the festival which is more important than just festivity, through a message saying that “ we are united and have to stay united through this diversity of culture and customs of our country by celebrating each Festival with equal respect and passion.
