Venues: Prelims – AKG Public School, Pallikaranai Grand Finale and Award Ceremony – Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam

Event Highlights

• Zonal Prelims (03 Oct): Eight teams from HIS Guindy presented their projects at AKG Public School.
• Grand Finale (31 Oct): Two teams qualified for the Grand Finale at Chennai Trade Centre. Each delivered a three-minute pitch followed by a two-minute Q&A session.
• Award Ceremony (01 Nov): The Grade 7B team secured 4th place in Category 1, was recognised among the Top 10 award winners, and received a cash prize of ₹9,000.

Finalist Teams and Projects

• Category 1 – Grade 7B (SDG 12): Jay Sudharsan J, Kaushic S and Aniksha Rakshini V (ID: IC2- CAT1-132). Their project, “Reinforced Flexey Brick,” explored recycling discarded flex banners into
  eco-friendly construction materials.
• Category 2 – Grade 10 (SDG 9): Aksheta Cen, Tharika K and Shiya Shanoj (ID: IC2-CAT2-184). Their project, “Heat Harvest,” explored converting industrial waste heat into electricity for machine monitoring.

Outcome

• Achievement: Two teams from HIS Guindy reached the Grand Finale, and the Grade 7B team was recognised among the Top 10 award winners.
• Learning: Students developed creativity and strengthened their teamwork, problem-solving, presentation skills and confidence.

INNOCHAMP Season 2 concluded successfully, showcasing student-led innovation and bringing recognition to Hindustan International School, Guindy.
