NATIONAL TRIP – HIS 2024

Hindustan International School organized a memorable trip for students of grades 6 to 8 from 14th to 18th November 2024. A total of 39 students and 4 staff members participated in this exciting journey. The students assembled at the St. Thomas Block at 4:00 PM, where the trip began with a prayer led by Ms. Florence. The group boarded the bus at 5:00 PM, and the journey commenced with Mr. Mouli, the tour guide, on board.

The first stop was in Arcot at 8:30 PM for dinner at Murugan Idly Shop. The group then continued their journey and arrived in Coorg at 8:00 AM the next day. After a refreshing breakfast at Amora Resort, sightseeing began with visits to the Bamboo Forest, Elephant Camp, and a reservoir. In the evening, students enjoyed shopping at the Bamboo Forest and a fun DJ program at the resort. The night was spent in executive rooms at Amora Resort.

On the 16th of November, the group travelled to Mysore, where they visited Hindustan College, Mysore Palace, KRS Dam, Brindavan Gardens, and the famous Water Fountain Show. The return journey started at 10:00 PM, and the group reached the school at 8:15 AM the next morning. Parents welcomed their children warmly.

This trip was an enriching experience that helped foster self-confidence, teamwork, and independence among the students. Thanks to the management for organizing such an informative and enjoyable journey.
