Nature Day Celebration 2025
Objectives
To commemorate Nature Day, a series of eco-themed activities were conducted across the school on 28th July 2025. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to become responsible caretakers of nature through creative and meaningful engagement.
Activities Conducted:
- Eco-Rally (Grades 4 to 6):
Students from Grades 4 to 6 enthusiastically participated in an Eco-Rally that commenced from the New Block and concluded at the Old Block. Holding placards and chanting slogans on environmental conservation, the young participants showcased their awareness and commitment to protecting nature. - Waste to Wonder Exhibition (Grades 1 to 3):
Students of Grades 1 to 3 took part in a “Waste to Wonder” activity where they displayed models and craft items created using recyclable materials. Their creativity in turning waste into useful and decorative items was commendable and inspiring. - Poster Making Competition (Grades 7 and 8):
A Poster Making Competition was organized for students of Grades 7 and 8. The theme focused on “Save Nature, Save Future”. Students expressed their thoughts through vibrant and thought-provoking posters, emphasizing the importance of environmental protection. - Photography Contest (Grades 9 to 12):
Senior students from Grades 8 to 12 participated in a Nature Photography Contest. They captured stunning visuals of natural beauty, showcasing their artistic eye and appreciation for the environment. The best photographs will be displayed on the school bulletin board and featured in the monthly newsletter.
Conclusion:
Nature Day 2025 was observed with great enthusiasm and active participation from all grade levels. The activities successfully instilled a sense of environmental responsibility and creative expression among students. The event served as a reminder that even small actions can contribute to a greener and healthier planet.
