Summary of the Session

The much-anticipated Science Expo 2024–2025, themed Fusion: “Science Meets Sustainability”, unfolded with grandeur on February 28, 2025, at the Guindy campus of Hindustan International School. The event, meticulously curated to ignite scientific curiosity and environmental consciousness which witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of students, faculty, and distinguished dignitaries.
The proceedings commenced with a soulful prayer song, setting an auspicious tone for the event. A warm and eloquent welcome address, highlighting the significance of the expo in fostering a culture of innovation was delivered and set the tone for the event.

Following this, Aditya, a pupil from grade 9 captivated the audience with an insightful and impassioned speech on Science Day where he instilled a deep appreciation for the occasion by highlighting its celebration in honor of the legendary physicist C.V. Raman. With remarkable clarity, he drew a compelling parallel between magic and science, emphasizing that while magic conceals its mysteries, science unravels them through discovery and innovation. His thought-provoking address received much admiration and set the stage for the day’s events.

The Principal, Dr. CK Lalli officially declared the Science Expo open, after which the Dean of Academics, Mr. Johnson Mathews delivered an inspiring presidential address. The Registrar, Mr. Stanislaus further enriched the event with valuable insights on the role of science in shaping a sustainable future.
