OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the session conducted by Ms. Anindhitha Ramesh was to help educators understand the various factors that cause children to lose interest in studies and to equip them with effective strategies to re-engage students in the learning process. The session aimed to create awareness about the emotional, psychological, social, and academic challenges faced by students and emphasized the role of educators in fostering motivation, confidence, and meaningful learning experiences in the classroom.

SESSION OVERVIEW:

The session began with an insightful introduction by the resource person, highlighting the changing learning behaviours of children in the present generation and the growing need for empathetic and student-centered teaching approaches.

  • The common reasons why children gradually lose interest in studies, including academic pressure, fear of failure, lack of motivation, comparison, distractions, emotional stress, and low self-confidence.
