75th Republic Day Celebration 2024 -Guindy
India marks January 26 as its Republic Day every year. In 2024, the country is celebrating its 75th Republic Day. The day was celebrated in our Hindustan International School, Guindy campus with great enthusiasm. The building was tastefully decorated with flowerpots and national flags. Everyone were feeling very patriotic and happy because it was a matter of great pride for all of us and we could sense the amount of joy that everyone felt. After all, on this day the constitution of India came into force and our country became a republic. On this day, the HISG Registrar Captain Kuruparan hoists the flag on the HISG campus. There was house-wise march past. Students marched in contingents to the beat of drum while the Chief guest, Principal and HISTAR head presided over it. Then the Principal of the school, Dr.K.Lalli delivered a brief valuable speech on the significance of the day. The main attraction of Republic Day celebrations is singing a patriotic song, speech on freedom fighters, and dance on republic day theme by students.The Students performed a bravery act of breaking bricks by our Karate Kids. This event began with flag hosting by Registrar Sir then he spoke a few words about freedom fighters and a couple of motivational stories for the Teachers, Students and Parents. In the end, the program was concluded by the National Anthem and distributing sweets and to all the students.
