BOOK READING DAY

30th NOV’2018 , ”BOOK READING DAY” was organized in HINDUSTAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, Karapakkam.
A special assembly was conducted on the importance of reading and how books can prove to be your best friends.
The students from Grade 1 to 10 were asked to bring a book of their choice. All were given an hour to read the book. The students thoroughly enjoyed this stress free day as they could go in a world of their choice.
Since, the students of today’s age lack the passion for reading, this initiative taken by the school hopefully will be instrumental in bringing a positive change and inspire students to inculcate a love for reading. It was indeed an enriching and fun-filled day for the students, which ended with great satisfaction and success.
