ONAM CELEBRATION 2026

Hindustan International School celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm on 25th August 2026 on the school campus. The celebration beautifully showcased the rich traditions and vibrant spirit of Kerala through a graceful Thiruvaathira Dance, a special dance performance by students and teachers, and a rocking Onam song by the school choir.

The grand entry of Mahabali added a special charm to the celebration, while a speech in Malayalam on the significance of Onam helped students connect with the cultural essence of the festival. The event was filled with music, dance, joy and togetherness.

The festive spirit continued with a special Onam celebration for teachers on 5th September 2026 at the Guindy Campus. Teachers enthusiastically participated in Uriyadi, Tug of War and fun-filled party games, creating moments of laughter and camaraderie. The celebration concluded with a traditional Onam Sadhya, making the occasion a memorable celebration of unity and togetherness.
