Annual Day Celebration – The Legendary Super Power Show

Hindustan International School, Karapakkam, celebrated its 4th Annual Day – 2019 titled “SUPER FRIENDS-THE LEGENDARY SUPER POWER SHOW” with vibrancy and life being propelled into magnificent and reverberating celebrations at School Campus on 25th January 2019. Ms.Madhu Saran, Founder of “River-The Power of Women”-Women Entrepreneurship Day Global Ambassador of India, was the Chief Guest for the event.

Entailing the formal welcome by the Mast.Gautam Kothari-Grade !X, the Annual Report was digitally projected showcasing not only the numerous activities done in the year 2018-19 but also depicting the progression of the school with the future ventures to be taken up.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest contended it was a spectacular show put up by the children. She stated that the students have smartly carved a niche for themselves. She added that students should not only be imparted excellent education but also be given great values so that they can effectively serve their nation.

Our Joint Director- Lt. Gen Bobby Mathews (Retd) addressed the audience where he stressed upon the important role of parents in the schooling of their children. He encouraged the parents to be a part of all the activities of their children to make it more meaningful and to encourage them.

This was followed by the Prize distribution ceremony for the students who excelled in Academics, Quizzing, Language Skills and Extracurricular activities. The programme was an amalgamation of various hues befitting the theme “Super Heroes”.

The props and costumes added colour to the festive occasion with the synchronized dance movement to the foot tapping music. The most riveting performance which drew an unceasing applause was the “Finale-Super Heroes”. A fashion show-The Justice League of HISK, added great élan, as enthusiastic students walked the ramp with grace and poise. An astounding visual treat enthralled every spectator present.

The Vote of thanks was proposed by Mast. Dharani- Grade IX and the programme culminated with the National Anthem.
