Geo MARATHON

Geo MARATHON was conducted on 8th Feb,2019 at HIS, Karapakkam in collaboration with Geo India Foundation to create the awareness of clean city and healthy living in the society through marathon.

The programme began with the Principal Mrs.Iris Theodore addressing the gathering and emphasizing on the importance of clean environment in a child’s life.

The chief guest, Dr.T.N.Santhosh Kumar, Para Olympic- Chairman hoisted the flag. Children from Pre-kg to Grade-VIII participated in this event and ran for Eco-friendly Campus.

Zumba dance was performed as a warm up exercise for the students, followed by the distribution of certificates and medals. Geo Marathon-HIS Team planted trees to create awareness for an eco-friendly campus.

We hope that, this event will bring awareness among the student community towards the importance of clean environment.
