Grandparents DAY / 5Th Anniversary – HISTAR

On September 20th 2024, HISTAR’s 5th Anniversary and Grandparents Day was celebrated in an atmosphere filled with joy. The festivities began with a lively welcome dance performed by the HISTAR children, setting a celebratory tone for the day.A memory lane video with a variety of activities, including class events, music, art, physical education, and exciting science experiments was showcased One of the grandparents, who is related to Vijayalayan (PP3), shared a special message for the children, while the grandmother of Manasvi (PP3) spoke about the importance of spending quality time with kids instead of relying on gadgets.

Fun games were organized for the grandparents, who eagerly participated and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the games, and a few grandparents even sang songs enthusiastically for the children.

A highlight of the day was a special storytelling session by Ms. Renu, a talented storyteller from Chennai. She captivated the children with two enchanting stories, utilizing expressive voice modulation and body language, which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mithali from PP3. The festivities included a cake-cutting ceremony for the 5th Anniversary, with delicious cake distributed to all the children. Parents and grandparents expressed their happiness and provided positive feedback about the program.
