Halloween at HIS K-2023
It is a time to dress in their creative best, also allowing children to dream, hope, and use their imagination. It gives kids permission to pretend to be someone or something different and extraordinary that reflects their personality and current interests and promotes more independence by allowing kids to practice self-care skills.”
The festival of Halloween is celebrated at the conclusion of harvest season and the start of winter. It is also believed that during this time, the spirits and fairies would cross the physical world. Halloween began in Ireland more than 2,000 years ago as a time of the year known as Samhain. A deeper spiritual significance is also associated with this celebration of respecting the spirits of our ancestors .Wearing Halloween costumes is also about warding off evil spirits.
