International Coastal CleanUp 2018

On Saturday, 15th September 2018 students of HIS, Karapakkam took part in the “International Coastal CleanUp 2018” as part of Planet’s Largest Beach CleanUp at “Pallavakkam Beach”.

Students picked up a lot of sticks, feathers, candy wrappers, straws, pieces of plastic cups and pieces of glass. The students really felt a sense of satisfaction after doing a little towards making their country cleaner.

It’s the need of the hour to clean our environment and to protect our eco-system. This activity would go a long way in making our students conscious about their responsibilities as good global citizens.
