Annual Sports Day

Annual Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Hindustan International School, Karapakkam, on 6th April 2019.

The School’s playground was overflowing with zeal, passion and excitement. The programme began with the arrival of the Chief Guest ,Ms.Sharadha Narayana, Former International Athlete, The students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events ranging from the Band display, March Past, track events, School drill, Hoola Hoops, Archery, and Taekwondo. They mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances. The proud parents could be seen filled with happiness to see their child performing.

School’s Joint Director Lt.Gen Bobby Mathews, Principal Ms.Iris Theodore, Parents and all the Teachers were present to raise the morale of the students. The Chief Guest awarded the medals and the certificates to the winners of the various sports events. The chief guest addressed the gathering. She emphasized the importance of sports in a child’s life. She was delighted to see girls participating in almost all the Sports Event.

She also applauded the School Principal, Ms.Iris Theodore for the school’s outstanding achievements. The Sports Day ended with the National Anthem.
