Climate Awareness Poster Making Competition by NIOT

Students had an exciting and insightful visit to the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) on 09 January , exploring the nuances of weather and climate. Experts explained the impact of oceanic changes on global weather patterns and how technology aids in climate research. Students observed advanced meteorological instruments and real-time data collection methods. The session also highlighted the importance of sustainable practices to combat climate change. This visit enriched their understanding of environmental science, inspiring them to contribute to a greener future. They further took part in a Poster making competition and won prizes for the same.
