ESPERANZA 2023-2024

Hindustan International School, a unit of Hindustan Group of Institution conducted an Inter school competition in the name of Esperanza 2023-2024 on 12.08.2023.  The event started with invocation and reciting of the school anthem with pride.  Mr. Johnson Mathew, Dean inaugurated the event and gave an introductory motivational speech.  Mrs. Bharathi Lakshmi, Principal, gave an inspirational speech asking students not to worry about winning and losing as the participation in these events itself will enrich them with great experience and hence requested all to participate enthusiastically.  She gave a brief introduction about the Chief Guest of the event Vijay TV super singer contest title winner Master Krishang and He sang some of his best performed songs and mesmerized the audience.  Further to refresh the participants, eighth graders performed an inauguration dance followed by Choir students singing amazing songs. Followed by this the students were sent to participate in the respective events of their interest.

The events conducted include Hammer Time (Dancing), Uncharted (Treasure Hunt), Paparazzi (Photography), Hell’s Kitchen (Cooking without fire), Coach Carter’s Court (BasketBall), Symphony (Singing), Met Gala (Rampwalk).  In almost every event, students from HIS, Padur secured the first place and the students of HIS, Guindy secured the second place.  In Coach Carter’s Court (BasketBall) event under girl’s category, the students of HIS, Karapakkam secured first place .  Chief Guest Vijay TV super singer title winner Master Krishang, Mr. Johnson Mathew, Dean and Mrs. Bharathi Lakshmi, Principal gave away awards to the winners to glorify them and motivate others to put in more efforts next time to hold that honour.  Event concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Ann Sandra, Head Girl of HIS, Karapakkam.
