Fancy Dress Competition

HIS, Karapakkam, conducted a Fancy Dress Competition for the students of Classes 1 to 3. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them the opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of the audience.

The theme of the competition for Class 1 to Class 3 – MS-Paint Tools and its uses. The students participated actively and enthusiastically in the competition, dressed up as Fill colour tool, Shapes tool, Pencil and Eraser tool, Copy and Paste tool, Cut Tool etc.

Four students of each class were selected to perform in the club activity.

Students of Grade-1 to Grade-3 spoke a few sentences on the means they depicted, emphasizing upon their need and importance in making the task easier.

The efforts and hard work of the students were highly commendable.

Mrs.Jeeja Joshi, the school Academic coordinator and Mr.Kamalnathan, Tamil Teacher were the cordial judges in the competition, who declared Nelson Mandela House as first and Margaret Thatcher House as second. She encouraged the students with her words of appreciation for them.

The competition proved to be a great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
