National Nutrition Week

National Nutrition Week is organized to make the people understand the importance of Nutrition and it’s role for the Human Body.

It is celebrated from the 1st of September to the 7th of September to make the people focus on Nutrition for their better Health.

HIS, Karapakkam students started the “Nutrition Week-2018” by a Speech in the Assembly and charts were prepared and displayed on “Better Health for their Better living”.

Nutrition is very important for the Human Body as well as any other living being as due to it everyone can carry out their work properly and accurately.

There are many people today in India who are Malnourished and require a proper diet for their better Body Growth.

Our Principal Ms. Iris Theodore shared and encouraged the students to eat a healthy diet rather than Junk foods. With obesity slowly killing us each day, it has become absolutely necessary for us to go back to our bases and include protein-rich, high-fiber, good fats rich foods to our diet.
