- Dr. M. Rajaram took the stage as the first speaker, addressing the gathering with a focus on the pivotal role of teachers in shaping the future of students.
- He led the gathered teachers in a Pledge, highlighting the responsibility of educators to believe in the potential of every child.
- Dr. Rajaram emphasized the importance of holistic education, covering both academic and extracurricular activities, and encouraged teachers to nurture students’ innate talents.
- Dr. C. Satish delivered an insightful session on “The Role of Teachers for Academic Excellence”.
- He contrasted the Contemplative Teacher with the Ordinary Teacher, emphasizing the impact of reflective teaching practices on student outcomes.
- Dr. Satish outlined three key steps for teachers to adopt:
- Self-Monitoring
- Self-Assessment
- Self-Adjustment
- He discussed the importance of a curious attitude, having a Teaching Philosophy Statement, and maintaining a Reflective Teaching Journal.
- Dr. Satish reinforced that “Good teachers are made, not born,” stressing the value of continuous improvement and reflective practices in teaching.

- R – Reading
- S – Stating
- T – Test
