Hindustan International School has constantly been striving towards developing socially responsible citizens for the world with the right values. They have been diligently implementing forward-thinking strategies and initiatives, paving the way for the development of a globally-oriented learning environment. It has marched towards a better tomorrow by inaugurating the UN Sustainable Development Goals impact club on 14th November 2023,Tuesday on the occasion of Children’s day.

The aim of the club is to achieve a more sustainable and equitable world by 2030. The primary goals will be to nourish the students to make the best from SDG Club. A key focus is fostering awareness and action towards the 17 SDGs. Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chairman of Hindustan Group of Institutions, inaugurated the SDG impact club and he emphasized on encouraging community involvement and to showcase the institution’s dedication in contributing to a more sustainable future. The students presented the various SDGS by miming and evoking a sense of awareness among the audience.

Chief guest Mr. Rajesh R Trivedi Co – founder and Managing trustee ALERT- a volunteer driven NGO that empowers the common man in case of an emergency to ensure ‘Right to Life’ a reality in India! – inspired the students by sharing his wisdom and experiences with the former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. We hope to create a better, safer and responsible environment for our students by curating a program where we teach them about transforming our world towards peace and prosperity.
