Doctor’s Day 2025

To honour the dedication and service of doctors, HISK observed National Doctor’s Day with a range of meaningful and interactive activities across grade levels.

Grades I & II – “Thank You, Doctor!”
  • The youngest learners expressed their gratitude through a Dress-Up and Role Play activity, enthusiastically portraying doctors and sharing messages of appreciation.
Grades III to VI – “A Day in a Doctor’s Shoes”
  • Students engaged in poster-making, followed by discussions and short presentations on common illnesses, preventive care, and the doctor’s role in society. It fostered awareness and empathy for the medical profession.
Grades VII & VIII – Visit to Kauvery Hospital:

To honor and express gratitude to the dedicated Doctors of Kauvery Hospital on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, and to recognize their invaluable contribution to society, especially in healing, service, and care was the agenda for students of Grades VII& VIII.

  • The students presented handmade greeting cards, thank-you posters, and bouquets to the doctors on duty.
  • A group of students sang a short “Thank You Doctors” medley in the hospital lobby, which drew smiles and appreciation from staff and patients alike.
  • Doctors shared a few inspiring words with the students, emphasizing the importance of empathy, commitment, and the joy of service in the medical profession.
  • Students observed a few areas of the hospital (OPD/Reception) under guided supervision to understand hospital functioning.
  • The hospital honored the gesture by providing refreshments to the visiting group.
Grades IX to XII – Health Talk on Emotional Wellness:
  • On the occasion of Doctor’s Day, the students of Grades IX to XII had the privilege of attending a thought-provoking and heartfelt session led by Dr. Bhuvaneshwari Rajendran, an accomplished Neurologist and dedicated social reformer.
  • The event began with an introductory talk by Ms. Rida, who beautifully set the tone by appreciating the invaluable role Doctors play in society. Mst. Keshav Rajesh, Head Boy, delivered the welcome address and introduced the distinguished speaker, followed by a warm felicitation by Mr. Johnson Mathew, Dean – Academics.

Dr. Bhuvaneshwari then engaged the students in a session titled “Emotional Wellbeing in Young Adults,” focusing on mental health awareness, brain development, and coping strategies relevant to today’s youth.
