8th Annual Sports Day 2025

The 8th Annual Sports Day of Hindustan International School, Karapakkam, held on 2nd August 2025, was a vibrant celebration of athleticism, unity, and sportsmanship. With enthusiastic participation from students of all grades and a meticulously organized sequence of events, the day truly showcased the school’s dedication to holistic development.

The event commenced with a soulful  School Anthem, uniting the school community in pride and harmony.

Dhishanth, the Sports Captain, delivered an energetic and motivating welcome address, encouraging every participant to give their best and upholding the spirit of sportsmanship.The ceremonial Flag Hoisting was carried out by the Chief Guest, Principal, and Guest of Honour, officially marking the start of the Sports Day.

A spectacle of discipline and teamwork, the March Past saw students from all four houses march in perfect coordination, radiating pride and unity.

The symbolic Olympic Torch was carried by our athletes, lighting the flame of determination. The Oath Taking Ceremony, led by Sports Captain Dishant, had all participants pledge to compete with honesty, fairness, and integrity.

In an inspiring speech, Dr. Kannan Pugazhendi emphasized the importance of fitness, resilience, and the life lessons that sports offer, urging students to strive for excellence both on and off the field. Ms Scindia urged the need to take care of health and embrace healthy practises 

A display of precision and rhythm, the field came alive with drills from HISTAR and from Grades 1-IV.The  performances of Silambam and Karate showcased students discipline, coordination, and creativity.
