Children’s Day Celebration at Karapakkam
Hindustan International School, Karapakkam celebrated Children’s Day on November 14. Children’s Day is celebrated on November 14 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.
Children were dressed in their best bringing a festive look to the school.
On the occasion, the teachers turned as students sang, danced and enacted onstage to make the morning memorable.
Our beloved Principal Ms.Iris Theodore addressed the children and encouraged them to dream big and work hard.
The children were shown a short presentation on ‘Chacha Nehru’.
The students of Class 1 and 2, enjoyed the day with activities like “Thumb Painting”. The students of Class 3 to 5 had a lovely surprise to begin their day, as each one Made a Rose and gave it to their teachers.
The Grade-6 to Grade-8 wrote about “Role of a child in impacting the society”. Children enjoyed with fun and frolic and made the day more adorable.
